Perseverance

Here’s a look at a simple current usage vs the secular Greek usage in Biblical times:

In the first instance ὑπομένειν is ethically neutral. It simply means “to hold out.” But as ὑπομονή later came to hold a prominent place in the list of Greek virtues, so there predominates in ὑπομένειν the concept of the courageous endurance which manfully defies evil. ¹Theological dictionary of the New Testament

But in a Biblical context, the perseverance is against hardships greater than what we generally consider today. In addition to that, the perseverance is done for God and with God’s strength.
