Fullness of Time

Lexical Root: Greek πλήρωμα τοῦ χρόνου (plērōma tou chronou) — “the fullness/completion of time.”

Scripture Anchor: Galatians 4:4 — “But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son…”

Contrast: Human “perfect timing” = peace, comfort, convenience. God’s timing = danger, suffering, and vulnerability, yet precisely the right moment for salvation.

Theological Significance: The birth of Jesus was not delayed or premature. It came at the divinely appointed moment, overturning assumptions of what “perfect timing” should look like.
