Intrust

intrust

Archaic form of “entrust,” with an emphasis on placing something in another’s care or possession.

Some, such as dictionary.com say: a less common spelling of entrust. While the word is viewed that way today, it completely removes the nuanced differences between entrust & intrust from Biblical usage and other writing from the past.
