A new series on WhichGodCanSave… – when government gets into religion

I’ve published a new piece on Which God Can Save? about the tension between America’s constitutional commitments on religion and the recent reports of military leaders framing the conflict with Iran as part of “God’s plan.” It’s the starting point for a series that will look more closely at how government power and religious belief get tangled—and why that matters for faith itself.

Armageddon: three religions – common and divergent views

It will also lead to a series that looks at some of the common points – and divergent views – of the three Abrahamic religions. I expect there will be more than a few surprises for a lot of people. Maybe especially because I’ll try to present it from the scripture and with information from each one’s respective religion.

If you follow these topics, the full post and the ongoing reflections is over on Which God Can Save?
